All of the Android devices I currently use are running Kitkat.

In fact the tablet I'm typing this on is running 4.4.2.

Hmm... assuming these numbers were taken through browser hits, I wonder if I've been adding to these statistics in any way since I've been running Dolphin on my Blackberry and it identifies as Jellybean...

Jelly Bean is so fragmented with the zillion different versions of itself, all of which are markedly different, that it doesn't really mean all that much that a majority of Android devices supposedly sport it.

My phone has Jelly Bean but anyone looking to use lock screen widgets on my version of JB will be sorely disappointed. Myself included.

As an owner of numerous Android devices, I have to say that the latest Android version is not always the best for a device. After the KitKat update, my Nexus 10 takes a lot longer to recover from a restart. More importantly, the KitKat update made my favorite social/mobile game, The Simpson's Tapped Out, too sluggish to play on the Nexus 10. And in my opinion, I thought my Galaxy S3 was a little snappier before Android v4.3.

I wish there was an Android setting that prevented the device from even looking for an update unless I specifically sought the update out.

tapped out has been total shit since the Halloween update. still no HD gfx for the 2013 nexus 7 either.

Same here. I haven't heard anything really good about KitKat. I've also heard that it breaks Adobe Flash compatibility and since many of the websites I use require Flash (true HTML5 video streaming can't come soon enough) I really can't have that.

Thank you for sharing this. I have JB currently and my phone feels like a sluggish zombie. Was hoping that KK would fix but apparently it would make it worse.
thx again for the info sir
