There's only one thing I want to know on this laptop, what are the thermals like? And not just the parts, but on the chassis. For instance, if the keyboard area gets too warm, especially in the left side, then I'll just skip it.

I know it's a month late, but not that warm:

My GE40 dragon eye gets about 55C around wasd (IR thermometer check) and over 70C on the exhaust. Not that good design. This one seems to be under 40C (100F) around wasd, which is ok. It's hot on the bottom though.

I have a GE60 and that thing gets HOT..
i'm talking like 70c on the palmrest.

i think the thinner these laptops get the less they have to dissipate the heat produced from the cpu.

From what I remember from reviews of previous thin MSI laptops they vent all the heat toward the back, which means the keyboard/trackpad area stays cool.

It doesn't matter where it vents out to. I had a Dell XPS 15z that vented out the back, but the keyboard area got unbearably hot if I ran a game. And Macs vent out the back as well.

All that matters is how well the cooling system is.
