Just what we need - another tablet.

This will be going against Asus Transformer T100 and appears to be somewhat inferior to it *not better in any aspect at all, inferior USB support, oddball mini-HDMI, slwoer CPU, no mechanical HDD in dock).

It better be way cheaper if they want to sell some.

It also comes with Microsoft Office 2013 Home and Student.

Wrong, the T100 comes in 32gb SSD, 64gb SSD, 32gb+500gb HDD, and 64gb+500gb HDD. There is also a newer version as well. As far as a mini HDMI, that is to be expected considering the T100 is more smart phone like than it is a laptop, hence they call it a tablet.

I read that as $100 Windows 8.1 tablet and was ready to buy.
