Mimi Wireless Gaming Keyboard Aims to be Your HTPC's Only Input Peripheral

Paul Lilly

Media boxes are great, but we still haven't found one that offers all the flexibility of a dedicated home theater PC (HTPC). One of the tradeoffs with HTPCs is that you'll need to rock a wireless mouse and keyboard to take full advantage of what it has to offer. Or do you?

The Mimi Wireless Gaming Keyboard urges you to ditch the keyboard/mouse combo for an all-in-one gamepad instead. According to Firebox , it's only slightly bigger than a PSP, but functions as an all-in-one HTPC keybaord and 3D motion sensitive mouse, and comes with a pair of analog joysticks to boot.

Other features include hotkeys, gaming style shoulder buttons, built-in accelerometer, a range of up to 10 meters, and up to 20 hours of constant use before needing a recharge.

The Mimi Wireles Gaming Keyboard is available now for around $150.
