If you are in any business Windows only way to go. Office 365 sync exchange, full office product 10 bucs a month 5 computers outlook, naturally you will want a windows phone for same eco system. Whats that Apple has office too? Exactly Apple needs windows but windows does not need Apple

You guys need a "mute" feature. Or more moderators, spam is getting much (And I don't mean spam bots).

Anyways, liking the features this is gonna bring to my phone, have quite enjoyed it, even if it is immature by comparison to Android.

So now that Windows 8.1 for Desktops has reached it's End of Life, updates will no longer be issued........

Does that include 8.1 for phones?

It doesn't sound any different than how Microsoft has been handling updates after Service Packs.

Pretty much the same thing. It's nothing new.

"Finally, bear in mind that there's no going back. Microsoft says you can't revert or return to a prior OS release after you've updated your phone to a preview update."

Say Wahhhht?

Yep. It warns you as you're installing the preview update as well. Haven't seen any posts of how to unofficially revert back if needed.

You can still update to a public release, once it is available, however.

Maybe we need Killdisk for phones :)

I could never get XP to install on a drive after Windows 8 was once installed, even after formatting, and unbelievably after re-partitioning and formatting the drive

XP would always crash halfway through the install

After running Killdisk, it installed just fine

Do you ever feel like you are being herded like sheep into a future you have no say in, or control over?

(For your own good, of course)

As far as control goes, I get it. WinPhone definitely feels more restrictive, like iOS, than I'd like. Initially I didn't care for Android but it has improved quite a bit.

The Win8/XP install issue is just...funky.
