Mr. Thurrott's Microsoft source, usually reliable, has already confirmed that they have already produced at least the initial run of surface minis and are sitting in a warehouse waiting to be released.
Interesting that Microsoft slipped up by releasing the unedited manual. Good thing there is no way to test any interest for this device by allowing the tech media to report on such a mistake.

I see little reason for a mini, however, i WOULD like to see a larger version. Something in the 15" range would be great! The concept is great, and i would love to have one, but Windows 8.x still annoys me just enough not to spend the money on one.

The S3 keyboard is junk. If there was a viable after market keyboard and it was shipped with Win7 then it possibly would sell better. It does not perform well with Win7. Microsoft might have done something to prevent the installation of Win7.

Interesting you made that point because I was wondering if I can install Windows 7 64bit on it and would it work correctly.

I know of a few people that have managed to get Linux working on it, so i'd say that Win7 shouldn't be too hard.
