The reason why they have no plans to release IE for Android and iOS is because of bad journalist like you. You make up lies to bash Microsoft. Keep cashing that apple check.

I'm running Win 8.1. When I go to Windows Update and click on Currently installed updates, neither MS14-037 nor MS14-051 are in the list. I also searched for KB2991509, and Cumulative Update for Internet Explorer, and can't locate them either. In fact I don't see any IE updates in that list.

Since the installation instructions say not to install the Hot Fix unless MS14-037 or MS14-051 was already installed, how do I know if I need it???

Nothing new here! Just typical Microsoft!

Maybe just maybe this is why nobody wants other M$ products! You know WP8, Zune, Surface, etc.

Mobile-first Cloud-first! Yeah! Go Microsoft!

"Recent" speed issues? Don't you mean "since birth" speed issues?

Don't install it. It breaks JS.

So I have to manually patch he update? There is no automatic hotfix with Windows update?

@joeking Yes, that is correct. It is a manual patch with no automatic update. In addition, you will have to restart your machine.

So what about all the people unaware of this hotfix. Are they unknowingly stuck with broken performance or do you think Microsoft will release the hotfix as an automatic update?
