If they had not lowered there free account from 25GB back in the day they would not have to raise it back up. But they are still 10GB away from where the free account used to be. Good thing I opted to keep my 25GB for free. :-)

Paul, I don't know if you're aware of the promo that MS has been doing with onedrive, where if you refer a friend to creating an account, you get an extra 500MB of online storage. I have done this multiple times. Do you know if my extra storage will stack with the increased to 15GB capacity?

In the past, OneDrive storage has always stacked.

Too little too late. This is still comical compared to Google Drive where for a couple of months now I have had 1tb for $9 and change. Don't need no stinkin' 365 subscription either. Couldn't be more happy. Sorry MS.

Google Apps in no way compare with the compatibility of MS Office when doing work with and for my clients. Many of them insist on Word, Excel, PPT Etc. That increased storage really is a big deal for anyone that is not a MS hater.
I'll take it.
