Notebook makers are building increasingly skinnier Ultrabooks and ultra-thins all in the name of portability, but if you're not a fan of touchpads, you still have to tote around a mouse. Logitech's answer to this is its new Ultrathin Touch Mouse Series consisting of the Ultrathin Touch Mouse T630 in black and T631 in white (the latter is intended for Macs but either rodent will run on both Windows and Mac OS X).
"Our personal technology needs are evolving rapidly, and people expect better design," said Charlotte Johs, Logitech global vice president of brand development and portfolio for PC accessories. "Whether it’s a computer, tablet, smartphone or touch-navigation device, people are looking for thin, modern design that works fluidly. We created the Logitech Ultrathin Touch Mouse to give people an ultra-portable mouse that complements today’s MacBook and Ultrabook computers."
The slim rodents use Bluetooth with Logitech Easy-Switch technology to connect to your laptop, desktop, or tablet at the same time, and you can switch among them with the flip of a switch. It's rechargeable via USB, and according to Logitech, just one minute of charge time gives you enough power to keep motoring for another hour.
Both are available to preorder now for $70 and will ship next month.
