Guessing this mouse has the same size dimensions as the 502? I have the 502 and find it too small for larger hands. It's not terribly small though and I don't have much trouble gaming with it- just not the most comfortable over long periods.

I wish they would just release an update to the G7. Give it a real non-detachable cord and ditch the wireless to save on weight and the poor battery life. They could just update the sensor while they are at it and call it the G702 Proto Hyper Furion Maximus edition. I love the size and feel of the G7 minus the fact that it weighs a hundred pounds.

Logitech has always been my favorite brand for mice. I've had the 518, G5, G7, and now the G400. They just fit my hand right. I like that the new mouse will be light since I sometimes pick up my mouse when it gets to the edge of the pad. I will definitely be getting this. The only thing I'm not into is this new G branding. The blue doesn't match well with my other gear but that can be excused if it tracks as well or better than the G400 and gives me a few extra buttons. Now if they could catch up with some the other companies on their keyboard designs.

Ah fiddle sticks, I bought the G502 over the weekend. Not that I don't like it but the G402 would've been more in what I would've bought.

So what's the difference between this one and the G502?

One more button, weights (it's the successor to the G5 line), 12,000DPI, and $20 more.

I don't think the 402 has tilt wheel either.

Scroll wheel = genius. Tilt wheel = one of Microsoft's first really dumb ideas. I like the look of the new Logitech... lighter and smaller is great. This could be my next mouse - but not if it has a tilt wheel.
