Nice case, but expensive and way too large for me. I just picked up the Corsair Air 540 cube style case, and while it cannot fit as many rad's, it still has plenty of space for any high end full ATX build with room for a 280mm rad up top & a 360mm rad in front, & for $230 less.

Floor space wise: the Air 540 takes up 3,851 cubic inches of space while the D600 takes up a sizeable 5,004 cubic inches of space, that's nearly 3 cubic feet, and an extra 1152 cubic inches over the Air 540.

Still.... the D600 is smaller than the Corsair 900D that was chosen for DM-2013 which clocks in at a massive 6,893 cubic inches. In that context, if I had been looking at the 900D for any build, I would DEFINITELY change plans & wait on the D600.

How much does this weigh before all the metal radiators and liquid is added?

It should have come with casters on the bottom.

A simple check of the Lian-Li website, or watching the video in the article would have told you that it weighs about 20 pounds or 9.2 kg ;)

Looks good and I like it alot more than their last cube. The price of $350 is about average for a high end case like this. If you wanted too add more hard drives you could change the hard drive bays or add more, bur eight total 2 SSD and 6 mechanical with good air flow works for me. This case has everything from water to air cooling for anyone that has the need this case offers.

It's a nice looking case, but being that wide and can only accommodate 6 HDD and 2 SSD? If I'm going to have a box this big it better be able to hold more drives than that.

From what I understood, though I could be wrong here, it was 6x6. 6 HDD and 6 SSD. read the PDF manual.

One thing I like about Lian-Li, is you can always modify their bays with other add ons they have available. Not that others don't do the same, but your case don't have to remain as is, just because they made it that way. But for some reason, it never feels as if you're limited to what they give you. If you're creative enough, you could add more bays to it and it won't look out of place.

Best case I have ever seen ... and I fucked up. I got a Blackhawk Ultra which is so freaking hard to set up and has issues already. But looking at that case up that the D600 .. makes me really, really want to cry.

Heh ......
