Intel Raises Earnings Forecast on Strong Demand for Business PCs

I imagine all those new business computers are running Windows 7.

I work at an MSP and we really push many of our clients to buy new PCs. Many still run XP or old Windows 32 bit installs. Most companies see IT as an expense, so they run computers until parts start to fail. Naturally, these machines are slow.

To some extent, we are noticing the XP users are starting to buy new PC's, and laptop users are often requesting new units. To be honest, this latter fact isn't much of a surprise given how often we see laptops so slow they are unusable.

But all Max PC readers should rejoice, because our happiest clients are ones with workstations and dual monitors, and responsive, fast computers. They love em. Long live the PC!
