I kind of want to see how well they can pull this off. But I do wish Intel the best of luck because ARM's M4 lineup is not only pretty blazing for that segment, but chip vendors have made versions that sip power even running at full speed (had a 40MHz M4 from Atmel draw a measly 2-3mA)

I want no part of an Atom processor ever again. No matter how miniscule it may be (or even if the link to the Atom is via name only and not chip architecture).

Isn't that the chip in the TI-8X series of graphing calculators? If so, considering how ingrained that calculator is in the public education system still, we never left.
