iGrow Pitches Thicker Hair with Laser Treatment

Paul Lilly

There's no way around it; you're going to look awfully dorky wearing Apira Science's hands-free iGrow laser hair rejuvenation system. But if you can tough it out for 12-24 weeks, you'll have thicker, fuller, healthier hair, Apira claims . iGrow uses a patent pending combination of built-in laser and LED lights that works on both men and women and supposedly uses the same low level laser therapy technology found in the Revage670.

There are 51 light sources in the iGrow system, which are comprised of 21 laser diodes and 30 LED lights to provide full scalp coverage. Apira claims the output is comparable to in office clinical hair lasers, as opposed to combs and other handheld devices with only 9-15 laser lights.

The hands free iGrow helmet also comes with a pair of earcups so you can plug in your music player and rock out to your iPod or MP3 collection.

The iGrow is available now for $700.
