There are already more smartphones and tablets than the population of earth. Did you expect the phenomenon will keep proliferating? Guess not.

Everything in this world runs on curves, exponential, normal bell-shaped or whatnot. Except probably in math books and linear equations :p

Paul, and you were the one that posted an article about how tablet growth will keep double digit growth for the next few years. Already manufacturers are seeing the same slowdown in the tablet screen market as the smartphone manufacturers according to DigiTimes.

I wonder if people in general will ever realize that just because your contract ended doesn't mean you have to replace your perfectly fine smartphone

Exactly. I'm happy with my HTC One, it does everything I want it to. Why switch to a newer slightly better phone that is aesthetics only, get locked in another contract, and it wont do what I want any better than my older phone did. The only rrason I switched to the One was because I was using a Samsung Transform for 4 years and it couldn't cut it anymore. Until my HTC One becomes too old to function, not gonna "upgrade"
