1920 on a 27 inch display? That is called a TV. The iPad has better resolution than that. How did HP even find a flat screen vendor willing to make such a low res monitor? Total fail, business use or no.

I'm betting they used the same manufacturers that the producers of similar monitors @ TDirect & NewEgg use lol.

I'm not sure I'd call that a TV as I can buy a 4K TV, albeit from a no-name (Seikei?) company, from TDirect for 1200 USD but I haven't found a 4K monitor of any size on those sort of sites for any amount. The TV is surpassing the monitor and that's just wrong IMO.

Outside of Apple, South Korea or the artificially high priced models from Dell (et al) there's no way to get anything higher than "1080/1200p" for monitors and that annoys me to no end. 1080 was old-hat when I bought my first 1080 monitor in 2009 and yet it is still the "limit" for mainstream monitors.

The Dell monitors are just gorgeous. I have 2 24" and 3 27" Dell U models. I would not buy any lesser monitor, just too spoiled by the Dells.
A 4K monitor would be plain overkill for anything less than a 30 inch and it would be hard to drive graphics on one. It will be a few more years before we will be ready to support a 4K monitor (or a 4K TV for that).
