Insurgence

My biggest problem with playing the game was that I had no interest in contracts mode even after trying it. As a result, I had no reason to actually try to do the game, just finish the levels. Bloodmoney had tons of incentive with the weapons you got rewarded with for getting a certain score. Some of the weapons made it easier, but ultimately if you were trying to get a perfect score in Blood Money then you did not really get to use the weapons, but it was still fun to do the game in various ways because of the news paper articles after each level. They were a small but fun little addition that was missing in Absolution.

"no pun intended" statements are so annoying

I got a much different feel from this game. I'm a big fan of previous Hitman games and was rather disappointed by this installment. The story was interesting and was really the only reason I finished it.

The gameplay was a letdown. It didn't feel like I was playing Hitman. It more reminded me of a solo Ghost Recon Future Soldier. The levels were much less sandbox than the past and more linear and checkpoint-goal oriented.

Instinct made it too easy at times. In many cases by simply stealing a guard or police uniform I suddenly had access to wherever I wanted to go and only needed to tap the instinct button for a second to pass by other guards. This left me free to do whatever I wanted.

I still go back and play Blood Money from time to time. The Mardi Gras level is still my favorite Hitman mission of all time. Absolution, beating it once made me feel like I had done all that needed doing.

Just my 2 cents.

Bing controls 30% of the search market. Literally everyone I go to school with, work with, and is related to me prefers Bing. Why is it so objectionable as to use it as the title on your CONS section?

The more important question is "why can't Maximum PC use anything (in jest) in that CONS section without people taking it seriously, personally, and getting their feelings hurt?" I don't need the staff at MPC to validate my choices in search engines.

The sources I've seen have Bing's market share at a bit over 15%...but I, like most, could not care less if someone likes the same products (or freaking search engines) as I do.

Sadly I still haven't gotten terribly far in this game.

I was always a huge fan of the Hitman franchise and have played every other game (except the first) to death. I just haven't had a lot of time/desire to play games lately, but I'm looking forward to getting back into this one.

Hitman has always been a bit frustrating. It's not for everyone and requires a lot of patience. (Sometimes the solutions you're looking for are nonsensical. I'm especially reminded of getting past the two Marines at the White House in Blood Money.)

There's a lot of trial-and-error and narrow windows of opportunity.

I for one enjoyed the game. Yes, it is by no means perfect. There are some things that I would have liked to have seen myself. I loved that it was challenging. Wiping out mobs of NPCs or sneaking around them was fun. What difficulty level were you playing in the game Chris?

I played the game on Normal.
