What's going to be really cool is when Google Glass 2.0 can replace signage and other written text with native language using augmented reality concepts.

My android device doesn't fit in my ear. Is there a workaround for that.

Quick, call Star Trek!

Will it speak in the users own voice like Microsoft's latest version?

In keeping with the requirements for modern "nerd" status, I saw the stunningly awful Gargantia on the Verdurous Planet series. I thought I'd repressed all memory of it but the instant-translate concept brought it back.

In Star Trek didn't they (once they got past the super-linguists of the Enterprise era) implant the universal translator in people? I don't want a Google chip implant...

I guess your TARDIS could always just translate in your head for you.

This will definitely be worth picking up. I'm out of country more than in, so having a Star Trek-esque translator would be amazing. Only problem is, I use BlackBerry exclusively. :l
