+1. I really wish that there were a carrier-endorsed smartphone platform besides Spybot google;Apple (especially now that Jobs is gone);Windows Phone. Out of those 3, I'd say that apple is the superior choice except that their hardware blows.

I say this half-jokingly but I'm surprised that the SF mayor wasn't a political puppet of Google.
