Don't even get involved in it. Sell games when they're done.

Are we talking actual new games, like Witcher 3 and the mysterious cyberpunk game that CD Projekt is working on?

Are we talking testing Good Old Games before they are released on GOG to ensure that they work properly on modern hardware and OSes (and, if so, what would this do to GOG's money-back guarantee)?

Or are we talking about creating a knock-off of "Steam Greenlight" to fund half-baked indie games (including bad, overpriced iOS ports) that GOG is currently drowning itself in a deluge of?

Why follow their bad example? Paying to be an alpha/beta tester is one of the stupidest things gaming has done in a while.
