Just don't play with the screws on the back of the motherboard, chipset heatsinks will fall off due to how thin those screws are.

I see an MPC article featuring a mainboard with moving parts on it. Active Cooling fans. For the short term, great!

For the long term, unless these fans are easily replaceable with something generic that does not have to be purchased from the OEM, count me out. The board might be fine for years, but once those fan bearing go, the board is dead, right?

Count me out.

The fans aren't strictly necessary to operate the board. They just help when you're aiming for big overclocks :)
