well thats easy to answer, they picked up a 3mil + ppd folder around the 25th of june.

Where can I get some of those 50,000 point WUs?

They did that back in Oct/Nov also.

Of course my ability to remember is not what it use to be, so it could be a friend of staypuffs giving him a hard time.

You need 8 real cores. Wouldn't make the short deadlines with an i7. You guys would get better PPD folding A2 WUs.

Ok, so how does one get an "A2" work unit?

Linux SMP! Go native if you can, or run VMs.

This More Efficient SMP Folding. (VMWare and notfred's) works too.

Time to get a skulltrail rig

I'm running 3 of those linux things in vwmare workstation on my i7. Yay I'm already running it and didn't even know it!!

I will not install linux again to dual boot aha, bad experiences..

I'm running 2 of them.

Would a MB with two Q6600s get these done?

How do you go about getting them if the answer is yes.

I just did some window shopping at the Egg and the only MBs that I could find that took 2 Quads were server boards. Of the ones that I found the sockets were LGA 1366 and 771.

And of course the Q6600 is a socket LGA 775.

The cheapest but not totally crappy MB and twin Quad combo I found was about $700.
