Long story short: There is a hardware defect in the ABS Mayhem G3's (Uniwill 258ka0) that causes a literal blackout. Numerous individuals report the same issue and the same lack of resolution from ABS. ABS will readily 'repair' them by repeatedly flashing the BIOS and reimaging the hard drive but does nothing to address the real defect. Attempting to get support is a tangled web of call backs and low level technicians. In my specific case (as the proud owner of two blacked out G3's) NewEgg and ABS say they are unable to refund or replace because it is up to the other company, even though they are the same company.
