Thought it would be a good idea for us cheap bastards that took advantage of the 'free' motherboard to track our status, considering the conflicting rebate instructions.

I went to VerifyRebate and this is what I came up with:

Processing rebates postmarked 5/21/04. Alrighty then, I'll check back in four months and see where I stand.

Never thought to copy the rebate form, but I think it did say it would take 16-20 weeks.

Isn't this cute though? They want you to look at the rebate date on the form you had to send them in order to get the rebate.

Oh well. I never take rebate offers seriously. I apply for them then forget about them. Once in a very long while I get a check in the mail. Then I take it to my bank and wait ANOTHER couple of weeks while they chase it down for collection. Very Happy

Still nothing here... wish I had gone online first, they have an "register your rebate online" thing that probably would have sped up the process.

did anyone else notice how both rebates wanted the original UPC yet there was only one? I sent mine in with the $35 one and made a copy to send in with the $30 one.

My Soyo board died today. Out of the blue. Will not post at all - juice is flowing, but refuses to POST. No beeps, no grounding, no overheating, just a piece of soyo, er, sh*t mobo. I'm so frustrated today.

Well I *thought* it might be from them. Think they used the same rebate service, or something with a similar name.

Yeah, still no rebates here. As the other guy mentioned, i got a few rebates this week for things i had forgotten about. I wont forget about my 2 $75 rebates...

They have no record of my rebate. It says that if it's been more than 10 weeks since mailing it in, then to contact them. I mailed mine on September 13th, so I have to give them until November 22nd to show a record of this.

Thanks for the reminder, I seem to recall my rebate was due near the end of November, I'll start watching the mail for it. It MIGHT come early. hehehe

Mine doesn't even show up as being received by them yet. They've got another week before it's officially been 10+ weeks, the point at which they say to contact them.

I don't think I have the slightest clue how to go about doing that. All I have is a mobo box with the upc cut out. Confused

Follow the prompts on the link above. If yours isn't found either, it will say to contact them at rebate@soyousa.com if it's been more than 10 weeks since mailing it in.
