The masses have spoken and I couldn't agree more. Doc McCords daughter, Elena is this months Folder of the Month!

I notified her via her guestbook, here. Ignore the gobbledy-gook at the top, I seem to have hit "Save" when I meant to hit "Preview".

All of those currently nominated will be added to the first voting thread of 2010...some exciting changes in Folder of the Month next year!!

A Wonderful choice! Actually, it means a great deal to me to see the way that she has moved many of the team. I get the privelege of spending a great deal of time with her and enjoying her in a way that I never would have if she hadn't been stricken. It is another example where good things come from bad.

And for all of us to reflect on this day and spend it well, because whatever you are doing, you gave up a day of your life for it. Fold On!

Excellent choice indeed!!!

Sorry I have been absent so much lately, but I got tied up with finals at school and lots of work.

Not to mention a second trip to Hawaii...

The good news is I got all As for the semester!

I happened to get on earlier just long enough to see I needed to switch my dedicated folder from superchip to Elena.

My thoughts are with you Doc. I'll be hoping for the best.

Thanks for the caring bridge link; thought I clicked wrong for a minute; same background I'm using for Hogan's page. Looks like she & my hubby had infections at the same time.

I can say it was this story alone that got me folding- a modest contribution perhaps but one I've been inspired to build on by the great folks at MPC and Elena!

See you at the cures.
