Hey everyone, I'm taking my first computer science course in college this Fall (as a 4th year, so a bit late becoming interested in it haha) but I have a question. I'm building my first pc between now and October so I will be running Windows 7, will all the programs I need to start learning how to program (in C++ according to my class syllabus) be able to run fine in Windows 7? Does 32bit or 64bit make any difference? Thanks, I'm sure I'll be in here with many questions during this first foray into programming!

I think you will be safer with 32 bit overall.

Please don't post in threads that are mote than 30 days inactive.

I also removed your post from the sticky thread because you used your post to spam your personal for-profit site. That is a no-no.

That's 2 strikes in two posts .. may I recommend that you review our rules before you post again? Thanks ...
