I have had the 932 for about 5-6 months now. There are two problems:

1. The hard drive vibrates and makes a low hum....

2. The red cold cathode I set on the case always seems to fall off. Is there a better place to put it?

1. I'm pretty sure its possible to remove the toolless brackets and just use screws. That should solve your problem.
2. did you glue it on? just use hot glue to stick it on there.

Zalman's been dethroned by a lot of new diffrent coolers. And the coolit system the low end ones are just as capable as a good air cooler. Proven. But here. http://www.xbitlabs.com/articles/coolers/display/core-i7-coolers-roundup.html you can check the other messages pertaing to cooling and you get the same answer Zalman is not as good as they use to be with cpu coolers!
That doesn't make them bad, dummy. People still buy AMD cores ya know.

the difference is that a Phenom II X4 955 doesn't cost more than a Core i7.
Zalmans, comparatively, do. The Xiggy dark knight performs similarly to a 9900 for half the price, and the Ultra-120 Extreme outperforms it for less.

I think the tool-less brackets are not optional.
Just hot glue the square nobs at the end of the cold cathode to the side of the case? That won't damage anything, will it?
I was planning on having the red on the side of the case, with the clear window then a blue one at the bottom, same size for a purple hue.
One last thing. Can I simplify it so I don't need that large rectangular noise deal or is that required.

Two things. What should the second cold cathode color be. I was thinking blue for the purple hue mix in the middle, and also, is a fan controller worth it?

Amazon for these parts...wise? Or just go ahead with the newegg norm.

meh... different colored lights don't really "mix" they just clash and look awful. Stick with a uniform color if the lights are going to be shining into each other.
just go with newegg, cheaper and more reliable... no reason for amazon.

I went red, there is a meteor strip, a 3 led laser, a 5 led laser, and a cathode, cathode is off because i decided it was too orange. all this plus the front led fan = super bright!! I couldn't bring myself to do the work of painting it. :(
