I have a few more laptops hanging around the house, but I do not have power supplies for them. If I did I would have them fold too, but it isn't worth buying the power supply for such measly points. Have you tried loading ubuntu on any of em to see if you get any better ppd? I was thinking about trying that.

I don't want to. They are running fine right now. They have Windows 7 RC.

Hmm, my new item's have arrived ( x3 720, 2 gigs of 1066 and a 260 card) so far nothing but problems, the mobo seems to be made for half size cards as i can use second pci-e slot because of sata :x and after several install's and 2 hours of work i got this thing stable with 3 x 260 cards  really i was geting quite pissed as the comp kept having random shut down's.
I'm hoping for about 4000ppd more a day as i decided after graydiggy's post to stop OC'ing my cards and just be safe with default, so we'll see what happens.
Seems bios update is needed also for mobo as it doesn't reconize the cpu, so i got lots of work still ahead on this but for now i'll just sit back and see if all 3 cards can get one Wu under there belt without reboot :?

Well, i had to due a bios upgrade on the mobo after all(was hoping not to) and now everything seems fine as far as stability :? but one of the 260's is getting a "EUE Limit exceeded, pausing for 24 hours" message so i'll have to wait another day to see if its all worked out

This is going to be a true battle royal to the top 100!!!

We should consider pushing it as far as we can after that.

Top 50 race would be sweet, but the competition gets pretty stiff up there.
