I just picked up a copy of an A+ study guide but it's copyright 2002. Is this up to date enough for the test and is there anywhere to get a supplement to this book that covers new technology since that time?

The book is 6 years out of date.

The easiest way to find out what the book is missing is to buy a book that is not out of date.

IT changes far too quickly for a 6 year old text to be worth anything.

Thats cool, just let me know where in Kuwait I should go to pick a new one up. If I had a choice, I wouldn't have gotten a 6 year old book but since it's all I have to use right now I was hoping for something a little more insightful than "get a new one". If it's so out of date that it's not worth my time to read it then fine, I'll take it back, but if it still has validity towards the test then I'll finish it.
I just need to know (preferably from someone who has recently taken the test) if the test covers mostly new technology(2003 and up) or just basics that still apply in the older book.

Ask an obvious question, get an obvious answer. Don't bitch at me just because you don't like it.

Will Amazon.com ship to you? Or have a friend or family member ship to you.

I appreciate the input. I do realize there are multiple ways of getting a new copy of the book. Those ways also take time and money. I really just wanted to know if the one i have is worth reading because A.) I got it free and B.) I have it now. If it's not then yes, i will go ahead and probably pick one up on amazon or ebay.

its still worth reading as a lot of stuff (basics) will still be valid. its just youll still want a newer version down the road for the later tech.
