I read somewhere that you can oc the bfg 6800 gt up to 400 mhz and you wont void the warranty. Is this true? What do you all use as your oc program. Go ahead and post some 6800 gt ocing action!!! ... if you feel like it. 8)

Many people use Coolbits to overclock nvidia cards.

I must say though, whenever I overclocked my 6800oc from default to 400/800 it showed almost no increase in frame rate in 3dmark05 and the source stress test, so I returned it back to stock speeds. That's just my experience though, a 6800gt might show better results from overclocking than my 6800oc. Oftentimes todays high-end cards are limited by the cpu, making video card overclocking pointless if you have a slow processor.

From what i understand, there is now way of telling if someone has overclocked their video card or not. So hypothetically, if your video card was to burn and you oced it, the company wouldn't know the difference and you might be able to talk your way into getting a replacment. Now Im not saying I am going to do this and take advantage of this great company, just something I was wondering.
