I'm not exactly sure what theyre called, but when u hold your mouse over something in XP, a lil yellowish colored box pops up with all the info info (like the alt= tag in HTML). just recently, they started messin up and they will show what you had your mouse over previously but they will be the size they should be for the thing u have ur mouse on now. so they will have a big black part on 1 end, or wont have all the information. but if you move ur mouse off of the item, and put it back, it will fix it. Is there an easy fix for this that any of you know about, and if not, how can i just turn them off completely. It's not a big deal, but it's annoying. thanx for any help.

Balloon tips...

And mine does that once in a while. It's odd, but now it's a sign that I've been running too long. Maybe I have a resource leak, or tweaked something out of alignment...don't know. They go back to normal if I reboot though. How about you?

Here, I made a pic for eveyone to see and hopefully have an answer. In screenshots, the cursor doesn't appear, but I'm pointing at Hoyle Games, yet The Internet Movie Database ballon appears:

Again, mine is as easy as rebooting once in a while. Microsoft still doesn't want a PC to run more than a week at a time;)

Wow, now that it's been drawn to my attention completely, it's screwed up on each one. Hold it over the area for a while, it should go away. Then move it over again...is it correct now? That's what mine does.

This screen I have open now is totally borked. I can't even open any of my favorites correctly. And ALL of the names are displayed wrong, not just a few. I've been on for 5 weeks. I better find a safe spot and pull over to reboot:D

Here's another shot:

yeah, if u put it over, the wrong thing will pop up, then if u move it off and back on the same thing again, it will be fixed. it just shows whatever it was previously on. but looks like urs is doing the same thing. but urs is fixing itself with a restart.
