I was thinking of getting a PS3, but I think that I'll just wait for F@h to release a version of folding for nvidia cards. ATI cards can already fold, but there's no nvidia support.....for now.

Can the PS3 join a team or is is a lone ranger only?

You can join a (preferably our team). Once the application has started, click the (I believe) circle. Change your configuration/preferences/setup. Team 11108 is our team number.

Do you already have a F@H name?

Good to at least look it over so you have an idea what's there when you need it.

If that gets a little dry, try the SpotLights in the thread of threads.
Learn about 40 folders in detail.
Meet the family, the pets, get a look around town.
See places you may never visit.

Try the joke thread, it contains many killers.

We have a contest starting very soon and that PS3 will get you into it with no problem.
You won't believe the prizes and the odds of winning are fantastic.

There is always something going on, feel free to join the fun anytime and anywhere.
Just because the big talkers seem to know each other well, don't let that stop you.

Well I am trying to join a new team I was just invited to. I entered their team number and gave myself a name but I don't see myself on their team. Could it have something to do with the fact I was folding before I entered their team and my own name?

If I did it right the name I use should be TheFirstStrike.

Hmmm... I am obviously lacking on knowledge of how Folding@Home works so I am going to take a walk through these forums a bit more.

You should show up on their team within 3 hours after finishing a workunit with the new name and team number.
