im getting a new comp this xmas and after checking newegg, i have two choices for cheap ram. corsair value select and crucial. atm i checked they both had 256mb sticks for about $40-45. i plan to get two n was wondering which would overclock better. (newegg also has a TWINX512-3200C2 for $110, but thats only if i can afford it) so ne ideas?

Neither company is generic, so I'd go with whichever one has the tighter timings - in theory, it would have more headroom as there's room to loosen the latencies. Realistically though, don't expect a miracle on Value dimms.
