Well Im planning to mob my computer but one thing I need help with is trying to hide or clean up my wireing? Like I want to be anle to cover up my fan wires and my power supply wires. And are there any suggestions with lighting and water cooling? Is it worth it to go water cooing? Is it true that you computer will be f up if the water cooling messes up (i.e. spills)

First off, what do you mean by "cover up"?

You can wire-sleeve and heat-shrink the wires if you want to give it a cleaner appearance.

You can also do some creative cable routing to make the wiring less obtrusive.

As for water cooling. What kind of environment are we talking about? Cool room, warm room, sauna, stuck in a closet? How much space does this machine have around it?

How do you want to water cool? Heavy-duty with big and bare components? Or unobtrusively? Or do you have a special set of requirements?

And yes, if you spring a leak, you can seriously FUBAR your system. This is why you do TESTING on a fully assembled water cooling system BEFORE attaching it to electronics. You assemble the entire system dry. Then pull the watercooling loop off the system and disconnect the motherboard from power. You then test the loop under power for a couple hours (yes, hours, as 30 minutes won't necessarily tell you if you have a very slow leak under pressure).

Once you've run the loop without leakage, go ahead and reconnect everything. Then double and triple-check the tightness of the fittings (to make sure they didn't work loose), and fire it up again under power.

So is going water cooling good compared to just fans? And what water or fan cooling would you recomend?

Water cooling is generally better than just fans, but environmental conditions can change all that.

Depending on the system components, and how (and where as pointed out in
post above) can influence what kind of cooling system would work best for you.

Are you looking for maximum cooling, or absolute quiet, or so that you can get as much of an over clock on your system as possible?

I don't know a single person that's fried their computer with coolant. I get a bit hamfisted at times and make a mess, but you just wipe it up. You don't use tap water, but distilled or other more pure water. It's naturally low conductivity.

Hiding wires just takes time. You can get really into it and go all sorts of directions with it. Hiding the wires by running them quickly to the back of the mobo tray and gathered there is the easiest. However, you can do some basic wire trimming and get really anal. Fit the wires to their runs, ditch what you don't or won't use, and sleeve them up.

Most PSU's still have molex connectors and I haven't used those in quite a while. So, open the PSU and trim them off. Some leads are too long for the run, some are too short. Splice and solder. If you do this, just lay it out and plan for expansion. One extra S/Ata drop won't be an eyesore, but you'll like it if some day you add a drive.

And then you can just lay out the wires so they flow and not trim a single wire. It's much more appealing to have them run in a trunk than just dangling out there and chaotic. No, this pic isn't like some elite clean job, but it's a very common payload and just ran basically clean. It's well withing anyone's general ability and doesn't take all weekend.

If it wasn't watercooled, you might just see a trunk and the red S/ATA's sticking out.
