I'd love to give thumbs up to NewEgg because they send everthing in two days but....

They forgot to put a "DO NOT X-RAY" sticker on my stuff and I suspect Fedex fried my Athlon XP. I guess that could also be Fedex's fault...

Then they sent me a P4C3.0 with two pins shorted. WTF.

No no no, thumbs up to Aspire for me. They were very responsive to my email...I bought the X-Dreamer II case from Newegg and the temp probe wasn't working. After emailing them, they asked for my address and promptly sent me a new probe.

Contact information is on their website here:

my point about Aspire is that if they can't put in a slip of paper with thier website or a phone # then they must have something to hide....like my case arrivng with a dent in the bottom and a crack in the plexiglass due to inadiquete packing or maybe the fact thier temp probes dont work.....little nit picky stuff like that. And dont get me started about thier PSU's. All they are good for is cutting out the caps, charging 'em up and tossing them to Spider Monkey.......CATCH THIS MONKEY...--[_]-- HAHAHAHA 8)

thumbs up:
buy.com (despite their resellerratings rank, they have treated me even better than newegg; 2 thumbs up, especially because their prices always beat newegg's)
newegg
maximumpc (hehe)
DFI (their support is phenominal)
logitech
antec
buynshop (DDR pads are great :D)
1stchoicememory.com

thumbs down:
asus (5 thumbs down, 1 for myself and 1 for each of my friends they've screwed)
durabrand generic cdr's (they flake away over time and generally don't burn at their rated speed of 16x)
maxtor (40gb hard drive died on me in 3 months of mild use, upon calling their tech support i hear a recording "we've merged with quantum", no help at all -- did not honor their warranty)
computer renaissance (2 thumbs down, one for selling me a bum drive, the other for ripping me off on it, selling it as new when it was refurbed)
sears (they charged my dad $300 to reformat his hard drive, shouldn't that be illegal? mind you this was in '96)

Thumbs up: gogamer.com.

Great selection and availability of gaming software, great product prices, cheap shipping, fast delivery that even Newegg would be proud of, and even a personalized thank-you note with the order.

Xrays won't harm yer processor, it's been tested and proven. So don't think that was the reason.

Thumbs way down to retailers Best Buy and CompUSA. For more reasons than there is space on this server to list.

I know I gave www.ups.com a thumbs down a few months ago, but I would like to up that to a DOUBLE THUMBS DOWN.

I just chased one of those brown shirted ninjas all over town here, finally cutting him off in a Staples parking lot because I need this delivery of 200 CDs and 50 DVDs for work tonight and the asswipe went in the back of the truck of about 5 minutes looking around and said he couldn't find it and he'd deliver it tomorrow. Meanwhile I told him I needed it tonight but he didn't care and drove off.

So another big FUCK YOU to UPS.
