I started on the blowhole. First I cut it.

Then started on the foam buildup.

Image

Look how thick it is!

Image

Next up, the right side. I added a hand

Then added red

And some darker "rotten" tones.

Image

Then the top. It looked too flat, so I added some larger vein looking areas.

Image

And red

Image

Then darken

So here's how I'm doing the front grill. The arm will reach across the left panel and the hand will hold the grill in place.

That's looking pretty cool. It gives me an idea for another mod. What is that expanding foam called? Where did you buy yours from?

Thanks.

Great Stuff is one name and it's at Walmart and just about any store with a small plumbing section. It's meant to be used around pipes where they are in and around walls to fill in the gaps. It's about $5 per can, but once you start using it you have to use it all. The tip fills in with the foam and dries and then it's hard to get it started again.

the really cool thing about that expanding foam, is that when it burns, it releases cyanide gas. so...don't burn your case..

also, i love that case.

Wow, I have been entirely too busy to Mod anything lately, but I do have updated pics.

Here's the Athlon XP system I will put in when I finish, but it's not staying. I've already had someone offer to buy the case from me when I'm finished. The buyer will be installing an Intel Quad Core system with 3GB RAM, 500GB HD, 8800 GTX, etc.

So I finally have two days off in a row. This is the first time in more than 2 months since that has happened! On to modding:banana:

I cut the [non-specific] windows out and added glass.

Image

Bolted them down...

Image

And added the foam.

Image

Tomorrow [hopefully], I'll paint the flesh:think:
