Location: 13, Center, and ready as a human torpedo.
I have a Intel celeron 2.4. I have the Asus AI programe running and was wondering how High I can overclock this piece of &%@$. Will it handle a 30% increase.................As you can see I'm VERY new to overclocking

??

Just keep bumping the FSB by 5-10 mhz till you expirience problems, then take it back a notch and make sure its stable. Bumping the vcore a notch or two might get you further but for the time being don't mess with that till you get a bit more knowledge about overclocking.

Celrons (least the old ones) overclock like nobodys buisiness so I'd say you should be able to get to 2.8 on that thing minimum.

Turn off the program and dig into your BIOS. Get familiar with it. Very familiar. Most (if not all) people should not leave the life of their processor in the hands of a program.

Once you do that, follow what urmumsacow said. (And maybe someone can go a little bit more in-depth about it).

I'll give the program a miss, and give the BIOS thing ago. Learning more is the key, as you all mentioned.
