I am running windows vista on my newly built pc. I wanted to give linux a try so I installed ubuntu 6.10 on a second harddrive. I am getting things figured out slowly, but I can't figure out why my clock dosen't keep the correct time in vista or ubuntu now. I reset it but when I reboot it the minutes are correct but the hours are off.

Change it so that vista goes to windows time to update its clocks every minute.

I would NOT set vista to update the clock every minute. That's called abusing the time servers.

You'll need to edit a system file.

Well I failed to mention in my original post that when I installed Ubuntu I removed the vista hard drive before installing Ubuntu on the second hard drive, trying to avoid any chance of messing up the vista install, and would use BIOS to choose what to boot into. I installed Ubuntu again with both hard drives attached and that took care of the problem.
