hello, I am planning on building this rig:

p4 550 3.4 ghz
asus p5ad2 premium
wd raptor 74 gb
1 gb crucial ballistix ddr2-533 (667mhz)
evga 6600 gt pci-e (will get 6800 pci with the upgrade thing by evga)
sony 52x/16dvd combo
coolermaster praetorian
antec neopower 480 watt
logitech 4000 quickcam
logitech duo keyboard mouse
dell 2001fp 20.1 in lcd

so wat u guys think of this rig? i think its strikes the perfect balance.. without the lcd its 1600 flat. So i was wondering: wat is the best lpga chipset cooler? I read that the jungle12 is not that much better than stock? And with the stock would taking the 3.4 to 3.6 be simple and stable? And should I replace one of the exhaust fans on the case with a tornado (vantec)? ( the case has 4 fans)

thx guys

you can get 3.6 on air. even if you reach it on the stock cooler i'd still say get an aftermarket cooler. water isnt needed but a good aftermarket cooler is the best path. the rest of your system looks mega sweet for overclocking.

hey again... :)

sounds good but which cooler should i get? I read one review where the jungle12 was bested by the stock? And thermaltake has like a 5 pound heat pipe which looks amazing but I read a review where the poor guys motherboard stopped working after a day, I guess what can you expect when you have 5 pounds of copper hanging off the side of your mb. haha. I heard people say zalman but I went to their site and I cannot find any lpga coolers? any suggestions? THanks.

your gonna get bombarded with pro-zalman people. i'm not big on Intel and their whole cooling scheme but i'd imagine theres a good zalman for you or another cooler of equal caliber that'll be ok for your processor

you can try the thermalright xp-120 for the lga 775 (make sure you get the right version). http://hi-techreviews.com/nuke/xp120/page_1.htm i'm not sure where to buy it at though. :?
