I looked on the internet and found a news site that claims that it has news that McDonalds will use a holographic display to project a holographic soda. Here's the link: http://www.joshrubin.com/coolhunting/ar ... log_1.html . This isn't like the hologram like on one of those laptops. They claim that its like "Star Wars". Is this a "true hologram" or is this some kind of tabliod times article.

Dunno if this is really suited for dogpound... (*shrug*)

The last I heard about holographic displays required 3 projecting units and some sort of medium to display in, such as smoke or steam.

As to why you'd want to have a coke can floating around??? I can think of better uses.

i have a little toy(third one down) that lets you make a 3D hologram...basicly two curved mirrors with a hole in the top.

got it at the Kansas cosmosphere a few years back cuz they got a SR-71 and were restoring the liberty bell7

heh, the one I saw had been out for awhile and subjected to the inquiring nature of some 10 million kids from 10 million countries :D

Needless to say the result was interesting, the smugged inside coupled with the dust made it look like a star wars communica, and if you blew into it you would send the dust flying wich made it flicker like one too.
