Hello people, well I've been a member of this forum for a month or so, and I've read a lot of messages but none of them seem to have information about mac systems. Now to tell you the truth the only mac I ever used was an iMac that was on my highschool's computer hall, so I'm really not that familiar with those machines, but it's caught my attention the fact that they're running 2 processors, and no one here seems to have overclocked one... why is that? is it only because we all rather have a windows based system? or is there something else I ignore?.

There's another question I have... what's the most Ghz you have gotten out of an AMD processor by overclocking, and is that amout of memory bigger than what you've reached on an Intel processor (or a mac processor for that matter)?

Thanx!

Yeah, it's probbaly because Max PC is a PC based mag/forum.......

Why don't you just join up with an Apple/Mac forum, and see if they have anything there? they're not hard to find.

Here's one.

Here's another one.

And yet another.

And another.

Xlr8 Your Mac.

How DO you OC an Apple? You just cant build one yourself, can you? Are there motherboards that have their own BIOSes to allow such a thing? Do macs even have a bios?

These questions came out of my experience from using Apples in my old school. At least my high school has Dells now.
