Hi Everyone,

I am new to the forum and have a question. I like to play the Hoyle Table games. Sometimes when I play Parchesi I get this awful sound (cracking and popping) and the comupter locks up. I have to turn it off and then back on. It seems to happen only when I play this game. I am wondering if maybe I need a new sound card? Maybe this game just pushes it to the limit. Has anyone had this kind of problem? Help, please!

Thanks

I am running an AMD Athlon XP 2000+
1.67 GHz with 1.00 GB of RAM and Windows
XP Pro. I think I have all the latest drivers installed.

My sound card is a Sound Blaster Audigy.

I just went to the site for the patch. I had no idea that was available.

Thanks

Let's try to follow the format and post troubles that we're trying to fix in the "Free Clinic". It's new and I know we don't have a start page to explain the methods of madness, but it works. We're all better off because the help is more abundant in a section dedicated to helping others.

Spread the word, tell your friends. Thanks :P
