Maximum PC

What do you think an average hourly rate would be for a fairly experienced tech working in a local computer store? Not like best buy or something. I know it depends quite a bit on the location and other factors but just give me what you think is average. I am experienced however I have nothing to show on paper. Other than the fact I am in college.

I live in Ohio so if you know what rates are around here give me that.

Thanks nebulaz that makes me feel better Me and my g/f are trying to move out. She makes good money as a server in a restaraunt, but I need a decent paying job for us to make rent and everything and still have some overhead. I am figuring total living costs rent, utilities and all other neccessities were looking at about 600/mo each.

I voted $10-12 b/c that was the highest, but in the greater PHX area its more like $15 local with best buys hitting around $17.

I live in New Hampshire and its anywhere from $12 to $20 where I live.

I Get Paid $25/hr in Grand Forks, North Dakota

Pretty darn good, although it all depends cos of living in a particular area.

Yeah I sure could use $25/hr right now! Problem is I have no proof of exp. so as of now I am working for my college as a Helpdesk Asst/Open Lab Monitor making $6. Still living at home so at least its spending money and gets me some experience.

This part-time or full-time?

Well i wasnt a tech but, my first job when i was 16 i got paid 8.25 so im guessing you will get paid no less then 10.00
