Anyone out there have a clue, and or a fix, for the following error thats generated when I click TV in MMC;

Language Resource file was not found:
C:\Program Files\ATI Multimedia\tv\TVDS???.RSC

Can I do anything thats short of doing a complete reinstall of XP?
Are there any general fixes to this error message or the like. And any other helpful tidbits of info would be GREATLY appreciated!

has the TV ever worked or are you installing new card trying to get it working for the first time?

have you followed the instructions here?

http://www.ati.com/support/drivers/winx ... bmit=GO%21

Graphic Driver Version? you do have DX9 and ME 9.0 installed yest?

you may wish to look over at rage3d they have extensive ATI forums (including AIW issues)

Yes, the TV did work upon new installation. And then I tried to update everything. I guess IF it ain't broke don't fix it! And I think this especially pertains to ATI, as in All in Wonder cards, at least there software anyway.
I tried a few times uninstalling and reinstalling to no avail.
So it looks like I may burn XP, unless I can weed out the registry, since it is no doubt corrupt. Im not getting any other errors however, and all the drivers appear to be working properly.

:D IT WORKS!!!
Anyone that has this problem with no TV (or other similar issues) needs to follow the advice above.
And make sure you have a good reg cleaner to completely clean out all the dead bits of ATI before you reinstall.
Many thanks again maddingo!
