P4 2.8C @ 3.5, 250fsb 1:1 is my best OC with this rig, currently have it backed down to 3.36 (240fsb) 1:1 with 1 GB Geil PC4200. Ran stable and cool enough at 3.5, just figured 3.36 would probably help the chip last a little longer (as well as keep the room a little cooler) in the summer heat.

Intel P4 3.0Gig 800Mhz FSB, clocked to 3.6Gigs, and 960 Mhz FSB. All with air-cooling. And it's as far as I can get without water cooling...which is in the works, but for my LGA775 3.6Ghz system.

on my old trusty xp2500 i got up to xp3200 on def volts of 1.65. i tried going over, and made it as high as 230x11 (2530mhz), but it wasn't stable at all. very unpleased with not being able to break 200mhz (i couldn't get any stable overclocks over 200fsb), i sold my heatsink and processor last monday to a guy for $65 and am buying a mobile xp2600 with a thermalright sp-97 coupled with a neo backplate and a vantec tornado 92mm. i will report my speeds back when i get this beast so you can all be jealous :D

im guessing you're using pc-3200 ram.

if you are, then you hit the limit on your ram, since pc-3200 ram is only rated for 200mhz (ddr400) and below.

Along with a modded X800Pro (to XT) running at 550 core / 575 RAM

(runs DooM 3 really nice :)

2*36 GB Raptors in Raid0 for OS

4*80 GB SATA 'Cudas in RAID0 for data (the hell with data safety, let's dangle the baby from the balcony :)

2500+ (1.83ghz) @2299mhz :D

That's with a VDIMM bump of .2v, and a CUP voltage bump of .175v

Last night it reported 51C CPU and 30C Mainboard, today is a different story though becuase it got warm again.

Crap!, I don't know how to overclock my CPU with the Intel D875PBZ motherboard, I think it's locked or something, I can't find in the bios nor jumpers as to how the heck I should.
I should've got an ASUS, but I'm pizzed at ASUS, my 845PE chipset mobo broke and they send me one with an old bios and I didn't like that crap. It's like buying a car with a V6 engine and send it back for repair and you get it back with an I4, that's the way I saw it and didn't like that at all.
Back to the issue, how do I overclock with an Intel mobo with the 875 chipset?, are the Intel mobos locked?. :?

Scr#$ overclocking. My HP Pavilion 8765c 900Megahertz Athlon Thunderbird that I bought way back in 2000 is used for playing demanding games (e.g.
Far Cry, Sims 2, Silent Hill 4) at full detail at pretty good frame rates at 1024 x 768 with an slightly overclocked PNY GeForce 5700 le and 256 megs of ram with windows ME and you know what? I AM STILL SATISFIED WITH IT! I know a lot of you are snickering because of the brand name and ancient technolgy, but it has seen me through my most demanding tasks without fail. But alas, the writing is on the wall and its time to give it a well deserved retirement and upgrade so I can finally play DOOM 3 (which requires Windows XP).
