The Mighty Marathon Pics for your viewing pleasure.

disclaimer - MaximumPC, Future Publications and the Mods on all the forums want it clear they are not responsible for health problems caused by viewing the following pictures.
If you find it is hurting to laugh, you may want to read some tips and come back again later

At the start of the Mighty Marathon Lodis suggested the possibility of the losers having to wear a dress and send in pictures. I guess at that time everyone felt invincible, and agreed.

Well the race ended and reality reared it's ugly head.
Possibly a bad choice of words considering what you are about to see.

Slooowwwwly the pictures have rolled in and are all here now (heaven help us).

One more little comment please.

These gentlemen are truly sports, in the first degree.
Think about it being you, would you have followed through and sent in your pictures?
Many might not have.

But these guys thought it would be worth a good laugh for everyone and here they are in the order received by me.

The vivacious mikemtp (not to be out done by Monsterbuilder)
I am told dress choices were limited - this one was the only one that fit.

The scary n0b0dykn0ws.
How do you like his choice of stocking and heels.

Holy Mackerel - He went out in public in that outfit.
Much extra credit for that.

Thanks very much gentlemen - great job done by all.

The top 2 questions I was asked were:

"You're not gay are you?" (Second most asked question.)

And

"Who'd you lose the bet with?" (First most asked question.)

I couldn't have done that without the support of seven friends being there. In fact, most of the catcalls came from them.

I did try explaining Folding@Home, but most people couldn't grasp the concept. I guess it was that most of the people were very much non tech savvy, and it didn't help that they were drunk.

OMFG, that's hilarious

KingFish says to himself, "never ever ever ever lose a contest again."

You guys are true sports....I don't think I could have ever gone through with that one. You have more guts than I do.

Isn't the whole point of the mag to get subscribers and new folders?? I don't think that would attract very many people.Image

On the other hand, gotta give my props to them for actually putting the dresses on. Don't think I could have done it (without some photoshop help). nObOdy - .....nevermind

Is monster pregnant in the second pic?
Even mikemtp's toy monkey is laughing at him. :D
n0b0dykn0ws, all you needed was goldenpalace.com to make that outfit complete. ;)

These were definitely worth the wait.
