Read this article and tell me I'm seeing things. I'm assuming he's using Frames per second but I thought the X800 XT was ahead with AA and AF enabled? Please, correct me if I'm wrong.

Yeah, it's great. The GT beats the XT in some/most of the 16x12 AA and AF games. It is a beast.

I have a 9800 Pro. It will probably stay with me for a long time, I have a lot of other priorities right now, like getting a water cooling setup going.

Everything looks great to me. Looks like ATi kick stomps the piss out of the NVIDIA cards even on the 3.0 shader model! Anti-Aliasing a game at 1600x1200? I guess if you're a fu*** retarded bonehead or forum troll.

Go get um ATi :!:

Even if you don't use AA and AF at 16x12, it shows that the AA and AF of the Nvidia cards are better than ATI's at least in Far Cry. So with future games, that you can't run at 1600x1200, the Nvidia's might be better.

Yeah, the old compsci guys you to have to trek over to MH for their labs. I was going through some old papers I had stashed away and came across a couple of them on 'How to use the VAX' and a list of Vaxen at other schools that we could log in at (CSULB and others).

I want to find one of them.

Uh, well what were supposedly heading towards here is, in fact, using AA and AF while at 1600x1200. You know, technological advances within the consumers realm.
