I'm considering spending too much for a mouse and getting the MX1000. There's just something cool about a mouse with a 'fricken laser' on it.

So, Logitech MX700 Mouse currently looking for appraisals.

I doubt if your going to do any better than the MX-700 but good luck. I've had mine since they came out, And it still works great.

The MX1000 has a tilt wheel (side scrolling) which I'd like to have. Other than that, I like the Lithium-Ion battery and coolness factor of a laser :)

tilt wheel is the coolest thing thats happened to mice since optical. and to be able to say you have a lazer shooting outta your mouse, your the man

Wouldn't it though? I'm thinking I'll mod it to make it a bit more powerful, then I can burn my CD/DVDs by hand :P
