Hey Guys!

My name is Sean Sinha. I am the main telephone and e-mail support guy at OCZ and am here to offer any help with OCZ products I can. This includes questions about our products and general inquiries. Keep in mind that I am not here to answer any questions beyond the scope of OCZ. You won't see me intruding a ton of threads and I will never be a part of a thread or post in a thread regarding another memory manufacturer or competitor of ours.

What brand of chips do you use on your memory modules?

It highly depends on which memory you are referring to.

For our PC-4000 memory we tend to use Hynix ICs. The newest PC-4000 Gold Rev. 2 is based on Hynix DTD5 ICs.

We use Samsung ICs on our PC-3200 Platinum Rev. 2 CL2-2-2 timings.
