While the idea may sound good to you, what you really need to do is some market research. You need to know IF this business is something that can not only survive after a year but start to turn a profit, i.e. how long before you can eat again. For the past several months I have been pondering something similar to this in the town I live in, however I seriously doubt that it would work where I live. The town is not very large and I have seen a coupleof sme computer shops disapear. You have to find a niche in the market and use that to make people come to your store, Bagels, coffee, and CPU's probably won't get you to far.

The city so nice they named it twice....

Going into business for yourself requires a lot of research.
Simply vist the SBA (Small Business Administration)
http://www.sba.gov/
It will give you the all the information you ever wanted to know about starting a business.
Good Luck! :)
